REAL CAMPING There is nothing like camping in the great outdoors during the British summer time! Rain or shine, there is always something special about real camping. Every child should have the opportunity to sleep in a canvas tent surrounded by trees and the beauty of God’s creation. Part of the allure of camp is that it is out doors, yet in a supervised environment, enabling each camper to be safe and adventurous at the same time! |
FUN ACTIVITIES Our schedule is packed full of exciting fun from early until late. An amazing waterslide, obstacle race, field games such as football and mega ball are just the beginning. Each year features different activities—past favourites include boating, kayaking, horse riding and go-karting. Campers also love the surprise activity we do each year and the night games such as ‘capture the flag,’ ‘jail-break’ and the late-night forrest ‘adventure walk.’ |
GREAT FOOD ‘The food at Camp Victory is delicious!’ many of the children say. No scrambled eggs with leaves or ashes cooked over an open fire here! Kitchen staff provide fresh, hot and healthy meals each day. The food tastes so good, it will have you coming back for a second helping! Special dietary needs such as vegetarian and gluten free can also be provided for. |
WONDERFUL MEETINGS Every morning and evening we meet in a large marquee for a service of prayer, Christian hymns and powerful lessons from God’s Word. Many young people have made professions of faith in Christ during the week and continue to walk faithfully with the Lord. This is the reason we began Camp Victory and are so very blessed to have the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel with those who attend. |
FRIENDLY STAFF Both the Junior and Senior week have qualified medical staff on hand to help with any medical issues as well as administering any prescribed medications to the campers. Our Camp Victory workers are DBS checked and have passed through a checking system with both their local church and the Camp Director. |
